Snow play

Toboganning at Mt Buller

You don't have to be able to ski or snow board to have fun in the snow. Try one of the many other activities on offer for something a little different:

Snow tubing
Snow tubing offers an action-packed experience for the whole family, and involves getting inside a large rubber tube and bouncing down a dedicated slope. Control of the tube is limited, but that just adds to the fun.

Snow shoeing
This is a great way to explore Victoria's snow covered slopes, snow gum forests and mountain peaks. There's plenty of deep snow among the trees and in hard to reach places, and guided snow walks provide a fun and exhilarating outing.

Telemarking
These days more and more people are looking to be multi-skilled in snow sports. Telemark skiing, or free-heel skiing as it is sometimes referred to, is very elegant and stylish to watch. It looks deceptively easy but is quite a challenge.

Tobogganing
Toboggan areas offer families with small children a great snow experience. Toboggans are available for hire from most rental outlets on the mountains.

Figgles
Figgles or short skis provide an alternative to skiing yet use the same skills. These little planks give you the freedom and variety that skiing does and will spice up your next holiday.
