Hamilton Beef Expo promotes and features displays, seminars and competitions relating to beef, prime lamb, fodder and grain industries and their associated products and equipment. This is an important commercially orientated agricultural field day promoting these rural industries. Producers are able to view and compare cattle crushes, yards and equipment and see the latest innovative technology. A domestic-market carcase competition and interbreed show cattle competition are held on the first day along with a Pen of 3 Ram Lamb competition. The unique Pen of 3 Bulls competition held on the Friday, is based on commercial guidelines with the cattle judged using both visual assessment and objective measurements.
