Owner and chef Jude Barnes runs the friendly Bagdad Foods, a place whose ever-changing menu playfully reflects the eclectic nature of the cafe's decor. Jude creates whatever takes her fancy; one day it's the spinach, feta and leek heart quiche, another might produce lamb curry or homemade sausage rolls. Its location next door to a bottle shop bodes extremely well for its BYO policy, and the venue is also home to the famous Bagdad Dressing, a multi-purpose condiment sold to more than 40 stores throughout Victoria.
