Walking and cycling – Mornington Peninsula

Walking on the Mornington Peninsula

Explore Mornington Peninsula on two wheels or two feet. Most of the region’s national parks have safe and scenic walking tracks that lead you through a diverse range of landscapes, from beautiful secluded bays to rugged headlands, pounding surf beaches to bushland and lookouts with great views.

The region is popular with cyclists who make the most of its excellent network of on- and off-road paths. Bring your own bike or hire one from the Visitor Centre at the entrance to Mornington Peninsula National Park the park, and ride the picturesque 5 kilometres to Fort Pearce, where bikes are left to begin a short walk to Point Nepean.
