The Stawell and Grampians Visitor Information Centre is located on the Western Highway in Stawell.  Stawell is just 20 minutes from one of the main tourism regions in Victoria, known as The Grampians. Stawell is renowned for the world's richest footrace, The Stawell Gift, held every year at Easter.  The Visitor Centre provides visitors to the region with up to date, relevant information on attractions and sights, and offers a booking service on where to stay.  Attractions of interest in Stawell include the Ironbark Forest, Stawell Gift Hall of Fame, Central Park, Big Hill Lookout, several small Art Galleries and the Leisure Centre with a rock climbing wall.  Not to be missed is the Golden Trail Through Time Heritage Trail. To find out about all these attractions and more the Stawell Visitor Information Centre is open to the public daily from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
