Wildlife viewing in Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges

Famous for their mineral spas and springs, the natural reserves, parks and forests of this region, are also home to a range of native wildlife.

One of the best areas for viewing wildlife is the Hanging Rock Reserve where you can join a night tour and see gliders, koalas, wallabies and other native animals while discovering the mystery of Hanging Rock. For something a little different, head to the Hepburn Springs Golf Course to see kangaroos lazing about on the greens.
